NEW YORK: empire state of mind
not an islanders fan for nothing!
I may have been born in Florida but my appeal for good pizza is genetic. My dad and my two older siblings were born in Long Island New York and I have grown a love for the state since I was born. I was always naturally gravitated towards the arts since I was born. I started competitive dancing when I was 6 years old and fell in love with New York City. I have been so grateful to have experiences to train at The Broadway Dance Center, learn from The Rockettes at Radio City, and spend summers watching Wicked or my favorite, Newsies on Broadway. It has always been a dream of mine ever since I was young to live in the city for at least a year. Maybe when I have more than 10 dollars in my account we can figure something out.
New York is full of art and music which is what brings so many together. As well as fashion and luxury. I love big cities and prefer the noise over the quiet. Studying film in school has made me appreciate New York even more now than I did when I was younger…..and that is saying something. I 100% believed that New York is where dreams are made of. As I got older my perspective has changed a bit. Dreams are made of wherever you make them and that can be from anywhere you desire. New York will always have a special place in my heart. Will never say no to a New York minute.
This may be a Rangers game but I was brought here against my will. I am kind of joking. The Islanders may be a tough horse to bet on but the Pechmann’s do value loyalty as you will see. Too late to switch now. I value them as well as Barzal.
Last time I was in New York was for a weekend. I adore these pictures from that trip. Getting to see Harry Potter on Broadway was a gem as well as me having to take my Steve Madden pumps off mid show because my toes were bleeding.
